Why isn't my login for the databases working? I'm at ELA / Kasteel Well / off-campus and I need access.
If you are at ELA (on or off campus), off-campus elsewhere in the US, or abroad you may encounter access issues.
Answer
Here's a few of the more common reasons:
- Browser or cache issues:
- Try using a private/incognito window or a different browser
- Try clearing your browser's cache
- Are you using a VPN (virtual private network)? Enabling or disabling a VPN on your computer may solve the problem.
- You are an alumni. Unfortunately, our subscription licenses will not allow alumni access from off-campus.
- Some of our databases do not work overseas. If you are studying abroad contact reference@emerson.edu and we will address your specific issue
