I got a "Your connection is not private" error message: what does that mean? How do I get my article?

It is safe to ignore this warning, here's how to proceed in Chrome or Firefox.

Answer

You might see an error when trying to access full-text finder:

Figure 2: Firefox Error Screen

To get past this, you’ll need to hit the ‘Advanced’ button. This will give you more information, as well as give you the option to continue to where you were headed. In Chrome, it is a tiny gray hyperlink that says "Proceed to...." In Firefox, look for the "Accept the Risk" button. Clicking on these links is safe and will allow you to access the article you were trying to view.
