Can I access the New York Times on nytimes.com?

Yes!
- Go to http://accessnyt.com
- Enter Emerson College and type in your Emerson.edu email to create a personal account
- After submitting, check your email for authentication. That personal link will allow you to create a password, completing your account setup
- Use your login at http://nytimes.com

Troubleshooting
If you have difficulty accessing articles or setting up your account, try the steps below:
- Try to access an article like this one: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/01/movies/america-ferrera-barbie.html
- If you can't view it, go to the Account menu in the upper right and double check that the email address listed is your Emerson one. (sometimes, if you've made an account, even a free one, with another email address it will get "stuck" as your default log-in.)
- If you are logged in with your Emerson email...check the Subscription Overview section. Make sure under "Your Subscription" it says News Group access
- If you've ever had a paid subscription with your Emerson email address, call their customer care line (email won't cut it, unfortunately) and cancel that account before trying again
