Can I access the BostonGlobe.com through a library subscription?

Answer

Unfortunately, the publisher of the Boston Globe has not made institutional subscriptions available to academic libraries. (They don't even provide student discounts!) We do provide access to the text of the newspaper as published in our databases - however, digital content, photos and other material published there are not accessible.

The Boston Public Library provides a limited number of 3-day online passes to BostonGlobe.com, BostonHerald.com, and a few other local newspapers. The Boston Public Library requires either physical card signup at any branch location or ecard signup to provide this access.

Because the Globe only provides individual personal subscriptions, there is no way for our library to provide access. You can check the rates of a personal subscription at this site: https://customerservice.globe.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020439672-How-much-does-a-Digital-Only-subscription-cost-
